Legislative Director
The California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) is an attorney
organization whose 700+ members statewide represent workers in
discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, whistleblower
and other employment matters. CELA's mission is to help its members
protect and enhance the legal rights of California's working women and
men through litigation, education and advocacy.

Recently, CELA has increased its emphasis on legislative advocacy. In
2007, this included sponsorship of two bills (AB 1043 and SB 549),
significant work in building alliances with allies in Sacramento, and the
organization's first Lobby Day. CELA seeks qualified applicants to fill the
newly-created position of Legislative Director.
